Dr Bethany Ugbo graduated from the University of New South Wales in 2010, and after a few years in Sydney relocated to Perth to pursue further training in obstetrics, gynaecology, and neonatology at King Edward Memorial Hospital.
She holds a diploma from the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists, reflecting her strong commitment to women’s health. Her areas of special interest include children’s health, sexual health, family planning, preconception and pregnancy care, menstrual issues, and menopause.
Dr Ugbo is passionate about community-based medicine and values the continuity of care and trust that comes with long-term patient relationships. She has a good sense of cultural awareness having lived in rural Australia, Europe and the US. She loves the variety in her work, caring for people at all life stages—from new-borns to the elderly.
