General Practitioner Services

Doctors started with an aim to offer quality and affordable medical services to the community in a purpose built and multi disciplinary team. Lately, struggling to find healthcare providers who are willing to work in a bulk billing arrangement. Also the cost of operations have significantly increased. So doctors have decided to introduce a Gap Fee of approx. $37.10 (Patient out of pocket) so that they can continue to offer good services.

Please note; At doctors discretion, some routine results will be bulk billed if followed up within 14 days from the initial paid appointment date, bulk bill children under the age of 16, aboriginal and torres strait islander, healthcare and pension card holders on a weekdays. 

Onsite & Telehealth Consultations

• Medicare & DVA Card holders

  Weekdays (Mon to Fri) : 15 mins consult is $80 and 30 mins consult is $120. After Medicare rebate, Out of pocket is approx. $37.10.

  Bulk Billing Available on weekdays for aboriginal and torres strait islander, centrelink card holders and children under 16 age.

  Weekends (Sat - No Bulk Billing) : $80 per 15 min, $120 per 30 min consultation. After Medicare rebate, Out of pocket is approx. $37.10.

  Telehealth Medicare rebate is available for patients who had at least one face to face visit in the past 12 months. Refer to below fee schedule for other services.

• Non Medicare card holders (e.g., students / travel insurance cards)

  Weekdays: $80 per 15 min, $120 per 30 min consultation.

  Weekends (Sat) : $80 per 15 min, $120 per 30 min consultation.

  (You may be eligible to claim some fee back if you have a eligible private health cover)

Procedures and Other Medical Services

• Iron Infusion: $180 for a 30 to 40 min session (Medicare/DVA rebate: $41 to $80 based on time, Out of pocket: $75 to $110)

  Please note: A initial consultation with our doctors may be required before booking in for Iron Infusion.

• Implanon contraceptive implant & removal: $90 for a 20 to 30 min procedure (Medicare rebate: $38, Out of pocket: $52)

  Please note: Our Implanon service offering practitioners are Dr Prav . We need initial consultation before booking in for Implanon insertion or removal.

• Skin Cancer Checks, Biopsy and Skin Procedures: Cost depends on the area of the body and size of the procedure. Check with your service provider at the time. As a general guide, cost is between $50 to $200 out of pocket.

• Work related injuries: We request our work cover patients to bring a valid insurance claim number for us to contact them & seek approval. Otherwise, we will require payment on the day and you could claim it back once the claim is approved. 

Allied Health Services

Medicare / DVA card holders with chronic condition may be eligible for “5” Medicare rebate sessions to see allied health practitioners such as physiotherapist, dietitian and podiatrist (combined) per calendar year. As per Medicare guidelines, When coordinating the development of Team Care Arrangements (TCAs), the general practitioner must consult with at least two collaborating providers, each of whom will provide a different kind of treatment or service to the patient. Patient must see both providers soon after the referral is generated. For example, Physio & Dietitian. Discuss with your GP for more information. You are welcome to see our Allied Health directly. Please refer to private fee schedule.

Physiotherapist

• Medicare & Chronic disease referral – Bulk billing

• Patients with no chronic condition, Non Medicare card holders – $90.00 (If you have a Private health fund, you may be eligible to claim some back)

Exercise Physiologist

• Medicare & Chronic disease referral – Bulk billing

• Patients with no chronic condition, Non Medicare card holders – $90.00 (If you have a Private health fund, you may be eligible to claim some back)

• There may be some additional charges if your condition need access to a local gym facility / equipment. Check with provider at the time.

Podiatry

• Medicare & Chronic disease referral – Bulk billing

• Patients with no chronic condition, Non Medicare card holders – $90.00 (If you have a Private health fund, you may be eligible to claim some back)

• Additional fees or gap fees may apply where service is not covered under Medicare or private fund. Check with your service provider for more information.

Dietitian

• Medicare & Chronic disease referral – Bulk billing

• Patients with no chronic condition, Non Medicare card holders – $90.00 out of pocket

Psychologist

Patients suffering from mental health conditions may be eligible for up to “10” sessions with a Medicare rebates to see our psychologist. Please see our GP for eligibility and a referral letter. Medicare & Mental health referral, Initial & Follow ups -

• Sandro: $180 per 1 hour consultation (Medicare rebate $93.35, Out of pocket gap $86.85), first consultation - bulk billing.

• Private (No Referral or Non Medicare card holders) – $180.00

Specialist Services

Geriatrician

• Bulk billing available for Initial & Follow up consultations if you have a valid GP referral.

• Additional fees may apply if you require tests or hospital procedures. Check with your service provider for more information.

Please Note

• All referral services such as pathology, radiology, specialists and hospital services are performed outside the scope of our services. Please check with the service provider in regard to any additional costs which may apply.

Cancellation policy

If you no longer need your appointment, kindly contact us to cancel your appointment. This will allow access for patients in need. Two hour notice is required. $50 – No Show fee may apply.

Claiming Medicare Rebate

Our systems are connected to the Department of Health - Medicare web services. We will electronically inform Medicare about your consultation & fees.  Medicare generally takes 2 to 3 business days to process your rebate into a nominated bank account.  

Expectations - GP Consultations: Medicare may not process your rebate if Full name, date of birth or address is not matching or your bank details are incorrect or not registered. (Some children account may not be linked to the parents account). We recommend you log into the Medicare Express Plus app and update your details before claiming through the app. Or visit the nearest Medicare office. 

Expectations - Allied Health & Specialist Consultations: Medicare needs a valid referral letter from a GP to process your Medicare rebate. You will need to understand the number of sessions you are eligible for, under each clinical service.

Please note, we are unable to process your medicare rebate at a later date. Customers will need to claim via Medicare Express Plus App or by visiting nearest Medicare office.
