Billing & Important Information
Cancellation Policy
If you no longer need your appointment, please contact Matraville Doctors to cancel or reschedule. At least 2 hours’ notice is required. A $50 no-show fee may apply for missed appointments or late cancellations.
Claiming Your Medicare Rebate
Where eligible, Matraville Doctors can submit your Medicare claim electronically after your consultation. Medicare rebates are generally processed within 2–3 business days and paid into the bank account registered with Medicare. Please ensure your personal details, Medicare details and nominated bank account are up to date to help avoid delays. A valid GP referral, Mental Health Treatment Plan or chronic condition management plan may be required to receive Medicare rebates for eligible Specialist and Allied Health services. If your Medicare claim cannot be processed at the clinic, you may need to submit the claim through your Medicare online account or myGov.

Additional services, procedures, room fees or medical supplies may be charged in addition to your consultation fee where applicable.
External Services
Fees for pathology, radiology, hospital services and external specialists are determined by those providers. Please confirm any additional costs directly with the relevant service provider.
