About
Dr Bilyana Konstantinova is an experienced geriatrician with extensive training and leadership experience across both hospital and community settings. She completed her initial physician training in Sofia, Bulgaria, before continuing her medical career in Australia at Prince of Wales Hospital and undertaking advanced training in geriatric medicine at St George and Sutherland Hospitals.
She has held senior leadership roles, including Head of Department of Geriatric Medicine at Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals, and Head of Department for the Hospital in the Home program within Central Coast Local Health District. She currently works as a Staff Specialist and senior geriatrician at Gosford Hospital.
Dr Konstantinova is also passionate about education and holds a Senior Lecturer position at the University of Newcastle. She is actively involved in community health, providing private consultations, visiting nursing homes, and supporting GP centres, with a focus on ageing, dementia care, falls prevention, and promoting healthy ageing.
