Dr. Jahan completed her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) in 1992 from Rajshahi University, Bangladesh. After relocating to Australia, she received her Australian Medical Council certification in 2001. Dr. Jahan has worked in various roles, including as a RACGP medical examiner, registrar (next gen doctors) trainer, and at the Royal Prince Alfred (RPA) Hospital, before transitioning to general practice.

She has been serving the Matraville community since 2012, initially at Bunnerong Road Medical Practice and, following its merger, at Matraville Doctors.

Dr. Jahan’s areas of special interest include Women’s Health, Antenatal Shared Care, Pediatrics, Diabetes, Chronic Disease Management, Travel Medicine, and Mental Health.

Fluent in Bengali, Dr. Jahan enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, and cooking in her spare time.
